The Minox 35 EL is a compact full frame 35mm viewfinder camera. It is the worlds smallest full frame 35mm camera, with an integrated retractable lens in a drawbridge configuration and a glass fibre reinforced Markolon body.

The camera in my collection, is equipped with a 35 mm focal length f/2.8 four-element, three-group, Color-Minotor lens, with between the lens leaf shutter and diaphragm, a centre positioned viewfinder, two stroke film winder lever and a film rewind knob. The Minox 35 camera back must be removed for loading or unloading film. It’s total weight including battery is 200gm.

Here are some photographs I took as an experiment. These are the ones that worked out. It seems that the rear shutter is a little sticky and will fail to open at times. There were quite a few blank rolls of processed film, my worst nightmare, however for such a small camera, the results are quite impressive.
